Why the Desert Rose specifically? The flowering plant comes from some of the harshest, driest, desert regions in the world. The Desert Rose blooms anyway, and has come to symbolize hope and resilience. A reminder that you have always had strength and resilience, and together we can help you learn bloom fearlessly.
About
When we learn differently, we are empowered to do differently.
Welcome! It's true what they say, taking the first step is the hardest. Today you are choosing you, and that's amazing.
I am Kristina Huddleston, a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have over a decade experience as a therapist, and have worked with clients across the lifespan (though due to telehealth, I am only accepting clients 18 and older at this time), and who come from a variety of backgrounds and communities.
I hold additional specialized training and experience in: attachment and childhood trauma through the lifespan, neurodiversity in relationships (including ADHD and ASD, grief/loss and death/dying, sex-positive, and the LGBTQ+ communities, and chronic illness/pain conditions.
I offer individual, couples, and family therapy to tailor treatment to meet every client's unique concerns and growth goals.
